The Puma Hard Chorus

A lot of football fans / supporters had a tough dilemma last Valentine’s day. Last year February 14th was on a Sunday, which means: soccer time. The guys needed to choose between their two biggest loves: soccer and their girlfriend.

Football brand Puma (sponsor of Tottenham Hotspurs) came up with a commercial where both of these loves where combined. Puma created a commercial with 50 soccer players/fans singing “I wanna stand with you on a mountain” off Savage Garden. Typical of course soccer players singing, because they were able to play soccer and let the ones they love know that they were thinking of them on Valentine’s day.

This commercial isn’t shown on television but only on the internet, YouTube and the Puma website. If you wanted to send this video to your loved one you could copy the link and email or text it.

This kind of creating a commercial isn’t usually done. However, it’s getting more popular by the day to promote and advertise by the internet.

When it appeared that this commercial became a huge success in England. Puma wanted to create an Italian version. So they re-shoot the commercial with Italian soccer players and even translated the song in Italian.
